"Se potessero i sospir' miei" is an aria sung by the character Tirinto (English: Tirinthus) in the opera Imeneo (English: Hymeneus)[1] by Georg Friedrich Händel. The author of the libretto is unknown. The role was first created by Giovanni Battista Andreoni[2].

Context
The aria is set at the beginning of Act I, closing Scene I. The location is a pleasant garden in Athens, where Tirinto (Tirinthus) shares his grief upon the loss of Rosemene with Argenius. Rosmene, a virgin of goddess Ceres, has fallen into the hands of barbaric pirates.
