Harmonia Mundi is an independent French music label founded in 1958 in Arles, southern France, by Bernard Coutaz (1922-2010). The product range includes mainly classical music and, through the sub-label World Village, also world music. The label, based in Saint-Michel de Provence in the Luberon, also has an American section.

Harmonia Mundi France is not to be confused with the early music label Deutsche Harmonia Mundi, founded the same year in Freiburg im Breisgau by Rudolf Ruby (1927-2014), which is now part of Sony Music Entertainment.

Bernard Coutaz, who died in Arles on 26 February 2010, was succeeded by his widow Eva Coutaz († 2021). In 2015, PIAS took over the label.[1]
