Gaetano Rossi (b. May 18, 1774 in Verona; † January 25, 1855 ibid) was an Italian writer who wrote libretti for the operas of several composers, including Johann Simon Mayr, Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, and Giacomo Meyerbeer.[1]
