It is linked to the Centre Culturel de Rencontre d'Ambronay, since its creation in 2003. One of the aims of the Festival has been to produce recordings – first, e. g., via the Auvidis label. During this period, the musician and choirmaster Jordi Savall was particularly involved.[1]

Since 2005, the festival has produced under its own label.[2]
